Five e-Bike routes from Virpazar, from gentle family rides to a full-day mountain loop.
Waterfall swimming, a mountaintop coffee break and lunch in a century-old stone house
This is the one you tell people about. Leave Virpazar and skip the steep ramp: a village trail through Poseljani leads you quietly through the forest to a waterfall and cold natural pools made for a mid-morning swim. The climb toward Macalov Brijeg earns one of the most dramatic coffee stops in Montenegro. Then drop down to Rijeka Crnojevića before the final 9 km climb to Etno Village Vakat.
Reserve e-BikesGet going early — this day is full and it rewards patience.
A forest path that bypasses the main ramp and ends with a waterfall you can jump into.
Panoramic views, strong coffee, no rush.
Home to the first printing press among Southern Slavs — the first Cyrillic book was printed here in 1494.
Lunch directly on the first bridge, 10% group discount. Full set menu around €45 per person.
Pro tip: Book Konoba Gradac at least 2 days ahead. The waterfall swim is best early, before the afternoon sun warms the rocks.
An old railway, horses by the lake and a winery at the end
A relaxed half-day that feels like an adventure. Start at Virpazar railway station and pedal gently toward Stanica Crmnice. Flat, shaded sections make it approachable for younger riders, and a horse ranch gives everyone a reason to stop. Almost no traffic. The route loops through the wine village of Limljani back to Virpazar.

Family winery with local wines, honey and brandy. Booking: +382 347 759.
Easy pedal along the main road with lake views the whole way back.
Family note: The section from Stanica Crmnice to Virpazar follows the main road — short and manageable, but good to know with young children.
A village winery, a sandy beach and a forest that stops you in your tracks
Godinje looks like the 19th century never really left: stone terraces, olive trees and Winery Garnet keeping Crmnica wine traditions alive. Scenic views ease the ascent to the lake, where a rare sandy beach waits. The adventurous continue to Murići beach and Beška monastery. You return the same way.
Reserve e-BikesMorning start recommended — beach time works best at midday.
Taste Vranac and Kratošija in a stone village setting.
A rare sandy beach on Skadar Lake, perfect for a picnic and a swim.
One of Montenegro's most beautiful chestnut forests — quiet, fragrant, cinematic.
Same trail back — the late afternoon light makes it look entirely different.
Winery tip: Garnet receives small groups only — tell them how many you are. Murići is unmissable in autumn when the chestnuts turn golden.
A riverside camp, morning coffee on the water and a village that time forgot
Short and quietly magnificent — for clearing your head without a full day in the saddle. The ride follows the Oraoštica river to Orahovo, where a camp restaurant serves coffee on a wooden terrace above the water. Dupilo is the natural turnaround.
Reserve e-BikesThe railway station is the starting point.
Camp restaurant on the river: coffee, fresh juice, light bites.
A small village with a big view of the lake.
Same path — no rush, the light is different on the way back.
A world record, a mountain ridge and a winery to end it all
This one has a story to tell at dinner. Limljani curves through the valley so many times that King Nikola's old railway “Ćiro” passed it five times — a Guinness World Record for the village with the most railway stations. Then climb to the forested Sutorman ridge with sweeping lake views, descend to Zabes and loop back to Virpazar.
Reserve e-BikesYou leave and return to the same place — but as a different person.
Local wine and prosciutto at a Guinness record station. Booking: +382 347 759.
The forest opens suddenly into one of the best panoramas around Skadar.
The loop closes. You're already thinking about tomorrow's route.
Guided rides can be arranged on request. A guide is paid separately: €50 extra.
